Bartlesville time and history!
Tallgrass Theater in alliance with White Rose Cemetery is presenting Mausoleum Stories written and directed by Marilyn Johnson. The dramatized program features the lives of some of the residents of White Rose Cemetery and is held in the Mausoleum atrium. The “Honored Guests” this year will be W.W. Keeler, Jane Phillips, James Teel, Vivian Foster, and Henry Wells. The characters are portrayed by local citizens of Bartlesville and thespians of Theater Bartlesville. The largely unknown Mausoleum, located in White Rose Cemetery, is a beautiful building of marble and stained glass windows and brass. Built in the 1920s, it is one of Bartlesville’s hidden treasures and the resting place of many of the city’s founding fathers.
