Microsoft has announced that it will stop supporting Internet Explorer (commonly known as IE) by the end of the year. Therefore, as of January 1, 2021, IE will no longer be an accepted way to access digital banking. If you use digital banking and IE, you must update your browser before January 1, 2021 to avoid a lapse in access to digital banking.

Keeping your internet browser updated is an important way to protect yourself against cybercrime. Whether you use Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari, always use the latest version when accessing digital banking from any device. Newer versions of browsers come with better security, and some boast faster loading speeds and fewer popup ads. 

Are you curious about which browser version you’re using? In your browser’s toolbar, click on “Help” or the Settings icon. Then click the menu option that begins “About,” and you’ll see the type and version of browser you are using. Learn more about the latest browser versions at BrowseHappy.com. Browsers are free.
